The chances are that if you’re reading this then you are pregnant! Congratulations!

Let me first of all reassure you that it is completely normal if you are feeling overwhelmed, nervous or scared about the fact that you will soon be giving birth to your baby.

We’ve been shown some pretty dramatic birth scenes in the media for as long as I can remember and it’s only in recent years that people have started sharing more positive birth stories.

Welcome…

Who am I?

I’m a certified Hypnobirthing teacher and a mum to 3 little boys and I’m passionate about helping parents to feel good about their pregnancy and birth experience. I’d love to help you shift your mindset from feeling anxious, worried or fearful about birth to feeling confident, empowered and calm.

Having a baby is a life-changing event and I firmly believe it’s important to start your new chapter with a positive and calm mindset.

I’m based in Dingwall and I deliver Hypnobirthing courses in Inverness-Shire and Ross-shire Highland. If you live further afield - I also teach Hypnobirthing courses and Pregnancy relaxation classes via video link.

Hypnobirthing is the use of hypnosis, deep breathing and other tools in labour in order to relax and allow a more positive, manageable child-birth experience.

It can sound a bit “hippie-dippie” but Hypnobirthing is actually backed with science and is something that everyone can learn.

With Hypnobirthing, the earlier you start - the better! This gives you time to really absorb and embed the skills and techniques to help you approach birth in a calm and relaxed mindset.

When you approach labour with a relaxed mindset your body knows it and can do everything it needs to do in the most effective way.

It’s important to note that Hypnobirthing is inclusive and it does not matter what kind of delivery you experience on the day. What matters is how you feel during the process.
